After my escape, I threw together some soup and salad because that’s what you do on a rainy night.

I bought a bunch of veggies from the farmer’s market over the weekend to make salads for the week. Mix included romaine, carrots, onions, radishes, cucumbers and an obnoxious amount of caesar dressing.

I also warmed up some carrot ginger soup.

And..

A slice of Great Harvest bread with butter.

Some Cabernet and a two dollar fuzzy navel were consumed and by the time I got home, I was hungry again.

Midnight snack part one.

Amazing Grass is like those ridiculous shoes you buy and can never decide if they are awesome or completely hideous but you love them anyway. Or am I the only one that does that?

Anyway, I heard it makes you feel better after downing alcoholic beverages so I figured it couldn’t hurt to have a glass.

Part two:

Whole wheat pasta with homemade tomato sauce and goat cheese. Yes, I really made this at midnight and it was delicious. It was a really small amount so I wouldn’t wake up feeling like death.

Apparently I was in a winepastagoatcheese coma last night because I slept through hail and gusting winds? So after my sweet night of sleep, I had grand plans to make a grapefruit/strawberry juice concoction. That is until I spent 15 minutes peeling the grapefruit and the juicer wouldn’t turn on. I have no idea what’s wrong with it! However, I did figure out how to remove the pulp bin which I’ve been trying to figure out how to do for the last week. Ya win some, ya lose some…

I always get annoyed that they have crap bagels and only plain english muffins so I used my brain and improvised this morning.

Whole wheat shorti roll toasted (This is half of it) with peanut butter that I stash in my desk. Grapes. OJ. Breakfast of champions. Wawaians?
